ORIGINS
Medicosmos was founded in 2023 by Guatemalan physicians with hands-on experience in U.S. healthcare operations and practice management. From the start, our focus has been practical: building continuity-driven operational delivery for practices and healthcare organizations by integrating teams, processes, and workflow systems—so essential work keeps moving even as volume changes, turnover happens, or workflows evolve.
Our early work supporting U.S. practices shaped the model we use today: a managed delivery approach where we own onboarding, knowledge continuity, replacement, and operational controls. The goal is not “staffing,” but reliable execution—care coordination, documentation workflows, patient access/intake, and revenue-cycle support—delivered with clarity, auditability, and stable performance in regulated environments.
In parallel, Medicosmos operates in Guatemala direct primary care operations. Running real-world delivery locally strengthens our systems, keeps our standards grounded, and ensures our methods are built for the realities of day-to-day care—not theory.
